The challenge: A beautiful but slender site, with a buildable area heavily restricted by wetlands and large expanses of protected sand dunes.

The solution: A simple almost minimalist home, clad in a sun bleached wood rainscreen weathered to a driftwood grey and placed over an exposed concrete garage which lightly touches the ground while elevating the main living area allowing views past the dramatically rolling sand dunes and to Lake Michigan beyond.
