OUR PROCESS.

We start every project with a blank slate…no preliminary layouts…no preconceived solutions…just our clients, ourselves and a blank sheet of paper. This is when anything and everything is still possible. We build from here. We take the hundreds if not thousands of decisions which will need to be made, and we break them into manageable groups. We organize the decision-making process. We layer decisions…starting with the biggest choices and working to the smallest details. We believe that in the best architecture nothing should be arbitrary. Every decision should build upon and be consistent with the one which came before it.

In practice, this method of design and decision making becomes a TWELVE STEP PROCESS.

Twelve steps from the start of design to the end of construction. Twelve steps from a blank piece of paper to something built of concrete, glass, wood and stone. Twelve steps from nothing but a dream to the day you are handed the keys to your new home.
